The Clinical Assistant/Associate/Full Professor for the College of Nursing will report directly to the Associate Dean. With expertise in: Medical Surgical Nursing, Health Assessment, Pediatric Nursing, and/or Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing, this clinical faculty member will participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of educational programming in the College of Nursing. They will work with the College of Nursing faculty and other departments on campus to promote opportunities for inter-professional education. Individuals will be considered in all areas of clinical expertise and scholarship in nursing, but the department will apply special consideration for those mentioned above. This position requires a dynamic response to a constantly changing work environment. Advising and teaching responsibilities frequently compete for priority requiring flexibility and adaptability. This position requires the abilities of a very qualified educator with broad nursing faculty experience in clinical areas and levels of complexity including substantial expertise in teaching.
